La lumière collective

Founded in 2016 by Emma Roufs, Sonya Stefan and Benjamin R. Taylor, la lumière collective is an artist and curator collective based in Montréal (Canada) who believe in the creation of cinema spaces favorable to artistic and human exchanges.

By night, la lumière collective is a micro-cinema which shows films, video, and works of expanded cinema of Canadian and international artists. One of the invited artists is present at each event in order to introduce their work and answers questions following the screening.

By day, la lumière collective is a studio which facilitates the organization of rallying events in order to create community links to amplify the impact of independent cinema and contribute to its evolution.
