London Short Film Festival: Working with Archive in Creative Non-Fiction Shorts

BFI Doc Society and the London Short Film Festival team up to host a panel conversation on the use of archival sources in contemporary filmmaking.

With contributions by filmmakers who have worked in both personal and public archives, this conversation will explore the creative and experimental scope of using existing and found footage in non-fiction film, considering its ethical and logistical challenges but also its potential to reclaim and reframe narratives.

Panellists: Xenia Glen, Theo Panagopoulos, Niyaz Saghari
Host: Sanne Jehoul
