Adriatikino · Adriatic Short Analog Film Showcase
Adriatikino, the Adriatic Short Analog Film Showcase, is an international non-competitive short film exhibition celebrating analog film and practices.
Screenings are organized by local filmmakers in collaboration with Luma Experimental Film Lab and Teatro Nuovo di Capodarco in Fermo (Italy), close to the Adriatic Sea.
Inspired by the Adriatic Sea’s historical spirit of travel and the exchange of peoples and ideas, AdriatiKino aims to bring unconventional images and visions to Fermo.
AdriatiKino is a safe haven for cinematic language that challenges orthodoxy and is free in its means of production. Experimental works, found footage, creatively repurposed analog archives, and mixed media are welcome, with no genre distinction. AdriatiKino is also a gathering that nourishes the local film-lover community that wants to broaden its horizons in cinematic art; it promotes exchange between filmmakers and film enthusiasts, as well as fostering analog film practices in the local area.
The event includes the analog live projection of a guest filmmaker and workshops on analog film practices and techniques.
